What We Buy:

Full/sealed bottles.

Plenty of single bottle deals, don’t have to have a huge stash!

Dusties (vintage).

Older the better! Estates, clean-outs and inherited stashes are our bread and butter.

Modern allocated.

From rare American bourbon to limited Japanese whisky, sought-after modern releases are always welcome.

Decanters.

We love vintage decanters of all eras.

Wine/Champagne.

Due to relatively low proof, proper storage environment is everything when it comes to assessing viability of wines.

Etc.

Whiskey and Scotch tend to have most value, but not necessarily! Rum, cognac, and monastic liqueurs like Chartreuse all welcome. Drop a line and tell us what you have!

What We Don't Buy:

We can’t just take everything, otherwise we wouldn’t have room to walk in our office! Below are some of the things we have to pass on for now:

No empties.

Only full/sealed bottles, sorry!

No opens.

This includes bottles with visible signs of leakage/seepage.

No Canadian.

This includes Canadian Club and Seagram’s VO (unless pre-1940). Crown Royal (pre-1980) and Bush Pilot are okay.

No blended whiskey.

This includes J&B, Dewar’s, Cutty Sark, Seagram’s 7, and anything blended with GNS (grain neutral spirits). Pre-1950s blended are typically okay.

No figural Beam decanters below 100 proof.

This includes all the Beam vehicles and trains. Bonded Beam (100 proof) and clear glass Beam decanters below 100 proof are okay. And other brands of figural decanters can be desirable regardless of proof.

No Metaxa/Ouzo or Galliano.

Can be great stuff, but Americans have lost their taste for these for some reason.

No beer.

Rare exceptions for sought-after aged stouts, but in general just not our thing.

No vodka.
